Class Description


Tabata was founded by Izumi Tabata in Japan. It is a form of High Intensive Interval Training (HIIT), but the participant has the opportunity to push themselves to their personal limits. It provides much of the same health benefits as cardio, but adds a bit more of a ‘punch’. This form of HIIT involves many breaks that are accompanied by the participant pushing their personal limits in a variety of moves. In Brandy’s class, you complete 8-9 Tabata cycles each 4 minutes. Within each cycle, you will participate in 2-4 different moves for 20 seconds each. Between each move, you get a 10 second break to ‘shake it out’. Between each Tabata cycle, there is a 1 minute break to relax. This form of exercise significantly impacts both your aerobic and anaerobic system.

Open barre fuses yoga, pilates, core conditioning & interval strength training for a total body sculpting workout. No flexibility is required, although you may feel you’ve gained some after class! In this one hour, fat blasting class, we utilize a ballet barre, light hand weights & playground balls, and your own body’s weight as resistance for the isometric movements & dynamic exercises designed to work each muscle group to exhaustion. As class flows, we isolate muscle groups working the arms, thighs, glutes and abs and follow each strength segment with a series of yoga stretches designed to create long, lean muscles. A MUST-do workout!

Heated Power Flow Yoga

This class is ideal for anyone new to yoga.  This beginner level Vinyasa (meaning breath is linked to movement) series  will help you build strength, increase flexibility, and find focus.  Practiced in a gently heated room, set to music, you will learn fundamental yoga postures and principles that will leave you feeling rejuvenated.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa flow yoga practice in an unheated room. A slower paced vinyasa class. This class links body movement with the breath. Each sequence utilizes breath-synchronized movements to transition between sustained poses. A series of postures linked with movement that will open and cleanse your body, strengthen and lengthen your muscles, and calm, soothe, and open your mind. In Sanskrit, the term Vinyasa means to place in a special way, or flow with breath. This type of yoga focuses on the idea that the way we place our breath, our bodies, our minds and our hearts has a profound effect both within and throughout. Great class for beginners!

Classes are 1 hour in length and you will do various activities, rarely repeating workouts.  Activities will include wall balls, body weight exercises, rowing, barbell work, kettle bells and so much more. All of you will be able to do pull ups, pushups and several other gymnastics movements.   You will be amazed at the things you will be able to accomplish and have a great time doing it.  Staying committed to becoming a better you will keep you coming back for more.  Short,  intense,  varied workouts that will bring results and continued excitement and change.  Teamwork will get you a long way in life…we start our workouts together, and end together.

Gentle Yoga

Stretch, Breathe and Calm. Not many downward dogs here…just calm and steady stretching and lengthening – increasing your flexibility and focus. You’ll leave feeling refreshed and renewed. Great for all, but especially for seniors or beginners.

Tabata Blast

Blast fat and strengthen your entire body with a workout fitness experts have been raving about. Tabata Blast features 20 second intervals of strength based and cardio exercises, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated eight times. With full intensity of execution, you’ll be guaranteed results. Tennis shoes and water are required.

This class is designed to burn fat and sculpt beautiful, strong muscles. The 4.1.1. workout combines cardio and resistance training into one single workout.  It’s name comes from it having a repeated cycle of  4 minutes strength training exercises, 1 minute heart-pumping cardio, and 1 minute killer abs.
